Poncho: Mountain Caribou

The Woodland Mountain Caribou have been exterpated from most of BC and Alberta. This has been due to loss of habitat from logging, power and seismic lines and increased predation as woodlands have been levelled. The woodland mountain caribou image is stamped onto the Canadian quarter. Will we ultimately lose this species in favour of colonization of their homes?
